iPipeline Releases V 7.0 of Leading Platform for Insurance Industry

“Velocity” Includes e-Sig via Safari Browser, iGO e-App link to Underwriting, & 3.5 .Net

Exton, PA: iPipeline™, the leader in on-demand software that supports marketing, selling, and processing solutions for the nation’s top insurance carriers, distributors and producers, today announced the rollout of the all new iPipeline Velocity Platform™, Release 7.0. Velocity is a measurement of how iPipeline accelerates change and brings direction to the industry through straight-through processing via the Illustration, iGO (e-App) and Content Suites.

Salient enhancements within this release of the platform include: e-Signature capabilities with the increasingly popular Safari™ browser to support straight-through processing, adoption of the 3.5 .Net framework, and integration with a 3rd party automated underwriting engine to dynamically provide drill-down questions for agent use

"Velocity, Version 7.0, is the 4th upgrade of our industry-leading platform in the last 18 months, and reflects our effort to accelerate R&D efforts to prepare for the nation’s economic rebound. The motivation behind Release 7.0 was to enable cost savings, deliver business benefits to our customers in the area of usability, and provide seamless integration between our Illustration, iGO, and Content Suites, our leading quoting engine, and 3rd party automated underwriting systems,” said Brian Seidman, Vice President R&D, iPipeline. “Technology is only as good as the quantifiable results it produces. Our ability to deliver new premium, drive agent recruitment through the popularity of our solution, and produce tens of millions in savings for carriers, distributors and agents continues to drive the momentum behind our products and speaks to the value of straight-through processing. Our new Go/No-Go feature for distributors ensures that they review all applications to ensure they are truly in Good Order and being submitted to the right carriers."

"The iPipeline brand is synonymous with how business is cost effectively and efficiently transacted within the insurance industry. In today’s marketplace, the agent’s ability to easily and quickly select products, run comparisons, and execute straight-through processing can make the difference between barely surviving and succeeding in today’s tough economy,” said Tim Wallace, CEO, iPipeline. “iPipeline’s customers’ prefer plug & play solutions that can be rapidly introduced into workflows and processes to deliver business results. The Velocity Platform is about accuracy and speed to market. We’re helping our carriers eliminate NiGOs (Not in Good Order submissions) for iGOs (in Good Order submissions), reduce cycle time, and increase placement ratios."
