iPipeline Launches LifePipe with Link to iGO e-App
Leading Term Quote Engine Auto-Populates e-Application to Increase Agent Productivity
Exton, PA: iPipeline™, the leader in on-demand software that supports marketing, selling, and processing solutions for the nation’s top insurance carriers, distributors and producers, today announced an upgrade to LifePipe™. LifePipe provides more than 850 distributors with access to iPipeline’s leading term quote engine as well as carrier rates, forms and underwriting guidelines. The upgrade, available April 27th, now allows an agent to launch into iGO e-App™, an intelligent fillable form, and auto-populate the form with quote information. Agents using iGO e-App increase productivity, accelerate the sales process and, as a result, report an average increase in sales of 25 percent.
"In 2008, agents used LifePipe over 12 million times to generate more than 162 million product quotes. The ability to compare quotes from multiple carriers on the results page and then click on the iGO e-App button to auto-populate forms with quote information is an enormous productivity enhancement,” said Tim Wallace, CEO, iPipeline. “iPipeline is intensely focused on enabling agents, distributors and carriers to eliminate application errors and leverage straight-through processing to reduce cycle time and increase placement ratios. A significant benefit of our focus is the positive impact it has on streamlining the consumer experience. With this upgrade of LifePipe, we have raised the bar to a new level for our competitors."
The new release of LifePipe offers several salient enhancements:
- LifePipe’s Term Quote Engine integrates with iGO e-App for customers currently using iPipeline’s Platform. Agents can launch into iGO e-App from the Term Quote Engine and have forms auto-populate with quote information.
- Logos appear in the results page for carriers electing to include their logos.
- The technology foundation supports iGO Drop-Ticket™ for carriers and BGAs seeking to offer drop-ticket call center services for their producers or to expand into alternate channels.
- Distributors now have the option to be notified when agents run and email quotes via LifePipe on their Web sites
"This release of LifePipe is a step forward in iPipeline's thought leadership initiative to transform how the industry markets, sells and processes insurance faster by improving technologies that support the workflow," stated Wallace. "I invite the industry to actively participate in our initiative and guide the future direction of the industry by participating in our national Webcast on e-Signature, held on April 30th, with three leading carriers."
