Business Analyst
Serving as primary liaison, between the company and multiple concurrent customer projects having primary responsibility for all project management tasks. This role will also encompass developing, managing, and communicating detailed project plans to ensure that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed specifications.
Skills Requirements:
- Interviewing skills to dialogue with individuals and work groups about their needs and to ask specific questions to acquire essential requirements.
- Analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, disseminate high-level concepts into details, distinguish true needs from amongst the collection of requirements, and create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.

Knowledge Requirements:

- An understanding of requirements engineering accommodating several software development life cycles within the project.

Responsibilities
- Work with the project sponsor to identify and document the product or service vision and project scope.
- Identify project stakeholders and user groups.
- Solicit requirements by conducting interviews, performing data and document analysis, surveys, site visits, etc.
- Write requirements specifications according to organization practices using language that is clear, concise and encompassing for a diverse audience.
- Decompress high-level customer and end user requirements into functional requirements, suitable in quality and detail to be used by team members who must base their work on these requirements.
- Define quality benchmarks, external interfaces, and other project constraints.
- Offer requirements in traditional formats, or where appropriate prototype layouts or alternative solutions.
- Lead the requirements analysis and validation ensuring that the requirement statements are complete, concise, feasible, and verifiable.
- Participate in requirements prioritization.
- Conduct peer reviews and inspection of documentation at declared stages.
- Present requirements in a template already being utilized within the organization.
- Manage and control requirements status throughout the project.
- Manage changes to baseline requirements ensuring company change requirement rules are followed.
- Develop and deliver requirements accounting for best practices modeling.
- Implement opportunities to incorporate new learning and practices to future projects.
- Identify ways to provide enhanced training solutions to the end user community.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Computer Sciences desired.
- Minimum 5 years related experience required.

Project Manager

Primary Job Objectives
- Develop and maintain project timelines and resources during length of project according to corporate plan.
- Ensures that billable projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Remains aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate risks; facilitating change order procedures as needed.
- Monitors project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members.
- Establish effective communication with other departments in order to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and effective manner.
- Interface with customer and internal project resources to convey project issues and gain status.
- Maintain customer satisfaction with consistent communication with all external and internal project resources.
- Compile monthly invoicing reports for each assigned project and associated resources.
- Compile monthly project status reports and distribute to the associated customer.
- Maintain constant communication with the sales team regarding the status of the implementation and the overall satisfaction of the customer.
- Ensure a thorough and successful hand-off of projects to support, post implementation and acceptance.
- Interface with Development Manager on project issues including timelines, resource allocations and project issues.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, MIS, Computer Science, or related area.
- 4-6 years of experience interfacing with external clients in a project management role.
- Experience in implementing projects from begin to end for small to mid size companies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the financial requirements and profitability of the project engagement from inception to completion.
- Must have effective customer interview skills.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
- Effective negotiation and communication skills.
- Expert with Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio Must be able to Multi-task.
- Advanced Management Training and Technical Certifications are a plus.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in all of the following areas: HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Apache, or equivalent web server.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in the .NET languages and systems: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, ADO.NET.PMP Certification is also desirable.
