Day 3Day 3 of the trip started off very smoothly as we were a half an hour early to our first visit with Gene Pleasants Agency. Angela McElvain greeted us at the door with open arms and was very happy to have us. She is the Director of Operations at GP Agency. We were joined there by 5 agents as well as 3 of GP’s staff who listened in while Larry introduced the sponsoring carriers, the purpose of the roadshow to promote iGO as a clean technology and did a demo of iGO e-App. We received excellent feedback; one of GP Agency’s staff even said that “The turnaround time with iGO e-App is significantly quicker than when doing paper applications, and it’s great!” They are looking to really push this in the next few weeks. They were also very excited about the acquisition of AgencyWorks and gave us some great feedback as to how we can streamline some of their processes with iGO e-App. (see video below.)
After the trip to GP Agency, we headed to Charlotte, NC where we made an impromptu visit to our Charlotte iPipeline office. It was great to see the Charlotte team and we were able to catch up on upcoming releases on our iGO e-App and Illustration products as well as news about Transamerica’s national rollout of iGO.
After a brief visit and lunch with our Charlotte team we left to meet with the women from Equity Brokerage. We had a great meeting with Vivian, Laurie and the team, and after I did a demo of iGO e-App we had a real nice discussion about the acquisition of AgencyWorks and how it will integrate with iGO e-App. Equity Brokerage has been a huge evangelist of iGO since the beginning, but it has been a challenge getting some of their older agents to adopt the process. Kay, Penny, Tanya, Nathan, Vivian (who first started writing insurance as an agent in 1954!) and Laurie Prevette (Principal) were pleased with the refresher training and are now in the process of their full rollout. Laurie has her team committed to making iGO adoption a key initiative over the next 180 days. After the demo we went out with the team to Carraba’s for a nice Italian dinner. Vivian is one of the sweetest ladies we have ever met and has been writing insurance since 1954! She thinks iGO e-App is incredible and won’t miss paper apps one bit. On the way back from dinner Laurie mentioned she was in the process of doing a Nationwide case and was going to use iGO e-App to complete it. (see video below for interview with Laurie). We really enjoyed our visit and was very impressed with the Equity Brokerage office which was designed by Mr. Prevette.
