Day 2Day 2 of the drive to NAILBA started out in Richmond, Virginia. Our initial stop was with the team from Atlantic Financial. We met Bill, Tim Eades (Brokerage Manager) other member of the team, including 2 of their brokers who joined via webex and conference call. After a presentation by Tyler and a review of some videos on the training.ipipeline.com website we had a very good discussion on the benefits of iGO and the rollout strategy. We also answered questions about the carriers on iGO e-App and status of other carriers important to their business. Atlantic Financial works with many P&C agents and thought iGO e-App would work well with that business model. Atlantic Financial is planning to roll out iGO e-App in 60-90 days in 2010 and we are looking forward to working with them. Next stop was in Lynchburg, Virginia. Colonial Brokerage House’s office is located just a few blocks away from Genworth Financial, an iGO e-App carrier and sponsor of our drive. We met with the team from CBH, including 3 brokers who were attending for the in person training. CBH has been using iGO e-App for a few months and the brokers using it really like it. Gran Sewell was our host for the meeting and had a lot of great insights into the benefits of iGO e-App and ways to use it in different selling models. Our final stop was dinner with Riad Hassan from Genworth Financial (see video below). We met Riad at Robin Alexander’s a new restaurant in the Lynchburg (Riad, Tyler and I would recommend it). We updated Riad on the acquisition of AgencyWorks and discussed the past success of the AgencyWorks user group meeting. It is always very well attended and there will be a lot of benefits by including iPipeline’s customers and products in this large industry event.
Tomorrow, Tyler and I travel from Lynchburg, Virginia to Raleigh, North Carolina for our meeting for with the Gene Pleasants Agency. --Larry Berran
