  • Michael A. DiPiano, Chairman of the Board [ + ]

    Mr. DiPiano is a General Partner of NewSpring Ventures and the Managing Partner of NewSpring Capital. Prior to joining NewSpring Capital, Mr. DiPiano was a serial entrepreneur and investor. He led or co-led the investment into six companies in the business services, healthcare and information technology industries. During that time, he was affiliated with Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE:SFG) and their related Funds. Prior to 1996, he spent six years as a division CEO and director of Chemical Leaman Corporation. Mr. DiPiano started his career in 1980 with Baxter Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: BAX) where he held numerous positions culminating as Vice President responsible for Operations and Sales of the Industrial Scientific Products Division. He currently serves on the boards of FemmePharma; the Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance, formerly known as the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group, which is a trade association representing over 80 Mid-Atlantic based private equity funds with approximately $12 billion under management, where he served as the 2005 program year Chairman; NutriSystem (NASDAQ: NTRI); Prescient Applied Intelligences (OTC BB: PPID); Bluenog; and the University City Science Center, where he sits on the investment committee.
     

  • Sean Cantwell [ + ]

    Sean Cantwell focuses on growth equity investments across sectors for Fidelity Ventures. He currently serves on the board of iPipeline, and is actively involved with GeoLearning, New Orleans Exchange and Teliris. Prior to joining Fidelity, Sean was a Principal at The Parthenon Group where he worked on a variety of strategy consulting engagements for private equity firms and large corporate clients. From 2001 to 2004, Sean worked at Summit Partners, where he focused on mid-market buyouts and growth equity investments in the software, healthcare and financial services sectors. Sean began his career at Arthur Andersen.

    Sean received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
     

  • William Daggett [ + ]

    William O. Daggett, Jr. is CEO and majority owner of Kistler Tiffany Benefits, a regional benefits firm engaged in the sale, service and administration of employee benefits since 2000. Mr. Daggett is also Chairman of the Board of North American Benefits Company, a Pennsylvania third-party administrator since 1992. Mr. Daggett is involved in various capacities in Benefit Designs, Inc., Group Marketing Services, Inc., Quality Rx Services, Inc., and CBDI, Inc., which are firms related to the insurance business. Mr. Daggett is a member of the Board of Directors of iPipeline, Positive Physicians Insurance Exchange as well as Continental Bank and serves on their Executive Committee. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Progress Financial Corporation and Progress Bank where he served as Chairman of the Audit Committee as well as Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters, Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters, Progress Financial Resources, past Board of Director and Founder of Corporate Call Center, LLC and past Board of Director of Network Communications Technology (NCT). Mr. Daggett is a graduate of Ursinus College and was a member of the Board of Trustees at Ursinus for nine years. Additionally, he is a co-founder and President of The Kistler Tiffany Foundation.
     

  • Michael Gantt [ + ]

    Michael Gantt, was until July 2007, the Group President, Insurance Solutions at Fiserv. The division offers technology, professional services, and outsourcing solutions such as insurance policy and claims administration, underwriting, rating, advanced billing and collections, point-of-sale technology and straight-through processing solutions to Life, Health, and P&C insurers in addition to reinsurance carriers, managing general agents, and administrators. Prior to joining the insurance group in Dec. 2006, he was the President of the firm's Bank Systems Group, which offers core bank processing solutions to depository institutions.

    Mr. Gantt was also the Chairman of the firm's Product & Technology Committee, which oversaw all product development and third party relationships. Prior to joining Fiserv, he was Chairman, President, and CEO of Ephinay Corp., a start-up global finance and accounting BPO. Earlier, during his first stint at Fiserv from 2000 – 2003, Mr. Gantt was the President and CEO of Fiserv Insurance Solutions Group and a member of the company's management committee. During his tenure, the insurance group grew from one of the company's smallest operating groups to one of its largest. Prior to Fiserv, Mr. Gantt was previously SVP and Group Manager of the Claims and Benefits Solutions Group at Policy Management Systems Corporation (PMSC), the leading provider of information technology services to the insurance industry worldwide; acquired by Computer Sciences Corp.
     

  • Roger Hurwitz [ + ]

    Roger Hurwitz focuses on growth equity investments in software and technology-enabled business services at Fidelity Ventures. Roger currently serves on the boards of Cortera, GeoLearning and iPipeline. Prior to joining Fidelity Ventures in 2007, he was a partner for Apax Partners, focused primarily on investments in enterprise software and technology-enabled services. Before that, he worked for GE Capital and was a vice president of GE Equity, where he played a key role in developing the technology group's investment strategy for business-to-business electronic commerce. Earlier in his career, he worked in corporate finance at Chase Manhattan Bank, and spent six years at Arthur Andersen in accounting and corporate finance.

    Roger received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Syracuse University in 1987 and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1995.
     

  • Cary W. Toner, CLU, ChFC [ + ]

    Cary Toner is co-founder and majority shareholder of iPipeline, the country's largest distributor of online insurance software specializing in industry solutions that help market and transact business faster and more accurately. iPipeline continues to push new solutions and create new tools for insurance companies, distributors, brokers and agents.

    Formerly president, CEO and sole owner of The Toner Organization, the nation's second largest independent brokerage organization distributing Life, LTC , Annuities, and Impaired Risk Services to over 5,000 brokers in 50 states representing over 65 insurance companies. Cary grew sales from $4 million to $45 million in his 15 years at the helm while pioneering the use of the industry's first online quoting, forms distribution, and case status and ultimately the creation of iPipeline out of this initiative. In 2001 the agency was sold to the Bisys Group where Cary served as COO, CTO until September 2002.

    Cary's extensive involvement in the industry includes being a founding member of NAILBA, a founding member of The Marketing Alliance, a board member of Philadelphia Association of Life Underwriters, as well as serving on numerous insurance company advisory boards. Cary earned a BS from St. Joseph's University and his CLU and ChFC from The America College, Bryn Mawr, PA. Cary lives in Malvern with his wife Maryann and their children Ryan, Courtney, Kira, and Morgan. Cary remains active in numerous boards, charities and foundations.
     

  • Tim Wallace [ + ]

    Tim Wallace is CEO of iPipeline with over 28 years of experience in the software, service and consulting industry. Mr. Wallace previously served as interim President and COO of MEDecision Inc., a public software company. Prior to MEDecision, Tim was the CEO and Chairman of FullTilt Solutions, Inc. FullTilt had raised $22 million in venture capital and was recognized by Forrester and Gartner Research as the leading enterprise product information management software in the market place. Mr. Wallace has been a two-time finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and a finalist for the Enterprise Award for "CEO of the Year."

    Prior to joining FullTilt in 2000, Mr. Wallace served as CEO of systems integrator XeroxConnect, and as the President and CEO for XLConnect Solutions, Inc., where he was also one of the founders of the company. Mr. Wallace and other members of the management team took the company public in October of 1996. Xerox acquired XLConnect in June of 1998 for approximately $420 million.

    Mr. Wallace formerly was a partner in The Waldec Group, a system integration company that was twice on the Inc. 500 list. He previously spent eleven years with Arthur Andersen & Company, where he was Managing Director of the Business Consulting Practice.

    Mr. Wallace received a Master of Business Administration from Miami University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on the following boards: FullTilt Solutions, Inc. Knova, Inc., MEDecision, Inc., and Migo Software, Inc.
